Thursday Evening with Ken Fong 4/23
April 20, 2009
Asian American Theological Fellowship [link:Facebook group] at Fuller Seminary is hosting a series of “Wisdom Sessions.” Here’s a session scheduled for this week:
AATF WISDOM SESSION with Ken Fong of Evergreen LA
Date & Time Thursday 4/23, 7:00PM
Location: Travis Auditorium at Fuller Seminary, Pasadena, CA
Wouldn’t it be nice to learn from mistakes and failures in life and ministry without going through all the pain? Although that’s most likely impossible, we have the next best thing. Pastor Ken Fong will be sharing some hard lessons from his experiences. You’ll get a chance to ask your own questions as well. Opportunities like this don’t come very often so bring your friends and ministry partners!
These Wisdom Sessions are about learning from the life lessons of our fellow wounded healers as they share about their successes as well as their challenges and failures. The focus is not so much on ministry know-how, but rather honesty and vulnerability in personal and ministry reflection.
Pastor Ken has authored two books, Secure in God’s Embrace: Living as the Father’s Adopted Child and Pursuing the Pearl: A Comprehensive Resource for Multi-Asian Ministry.
