Pastor Steven Chin, of Boston Chinese Evangelical Church, spoke at a workshop titled, “Working Faithfully Under a Senior Pastor” at The Gospel Coalition 2009 National Conference. Pastor Chin shared about his experiences in pastoring within an multi-generational Chinese church, and offers 10 pieces of advice.

Pastor Steve has been on the staff of the Boston Chinese Evangelical Church since 1977 beginning as Assistant to the Pastor. He was ordained and installed by the church as Associate Pastor in 1984 and became Senior Pastor in 2000. Boston Chinese Evangelical Church is currently the largest Asian church in New England with over 1,200 adults meeting in six worship services using English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
